Committee Events

INSAR is fortunate to have many volunteers who work on committees to develop, organize, and support for the variety of activities and programs INSAR offers to members and others in the field of autism research. Annually, many of these committees provide online events for both INSAR members and nonmembers.

INSAR Institute

The INSAR Institute (previously known as INSAR Summer Institute) webinars are designed for students, post-doctoral fellows, early-career investigators, families, service providers, and autistic people and their families. Clinicians and established researchers who would like a snapshot of the current state of science in topics outside their area of expertise may also find these sessions of value.

Registration is free for this annual event and available worldwide to those interested in autism research. Past series' recordings are available on the event page.

Regional Meetings

As a part of INSAR's Strategic Plan, to represent a diverse and global community, INSAR began co-hosting Regional INSAR Meetings in 2015. The INSAR Regional Meetings are held outside North America and Europe in locations where our members may be less able to attend INSAR annual meetings, and/or where local organizers are interested in building a stronger autism research community. INSAR Regional Meetings are held in partnership with local research, clinical, and stakeholder groups.
