Call for Proposals - INSAR Regional Meeting 2019
Submissions Accepted Online: June 13 - August 22, 2018 - CLOSED
Aim: INSAR wishes to broaden its global reach by co-hosting INSAR Regional Meetings in locations where our members may be less able to attend the INSAR Annual Meetings, and/or where local organizers are interested in building a stronger autism research community. Periodically the Board will issue a Call for Proposals for INSAR Regional Meetings outside North America and Europe.
Scope: INSAR Regional Meetings are held in partnership with local research, clinical, and stakeholder groups.
Timing: We held the first Regional Meetings in 2015 (in Shanghai) and September 2017 (in South Africa). The frequency of such meetings is to be decided, but INSAR will not hold a Regional in the same year that the main INSAR meeting takes place outside North America (currently scheduled for 2018, 2023, etc).
How to Make a Proposal: Current INSAR Members will receive email announcements when the next Call for Proposals opens. If you know of an ideal location outside North America/Europe, where there are local groups eager to partner with INSAR to hold an INSAR Regional Meeting, we would be pleased to have you participate in the next proposal process.
Complete and submit the online form (submission includes uploading a PDF copy of your proposal) prior to the posted deadline. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Complete the form below by August 22, 2018 to submit your initial proposal. The most promising proposals will be taken to a second round of consideration, when more detailed information will be requested (including evidence of local support, practical and financial arrangements, commitment to INSAR and increasing global membership, experience of organizing relevant events, etc).
