INSAR Early Career Membership

INSAR Early Career Membership $110 USD/year

Early Career Membership is a sub-category of the Full Membership. Individuals who meet the requirements for Full Membership and the Early Career criteria, are able to pay a reduced membership rate as they continue to build their independent research careers. Early Career Members have voting privileges.

Early Career is defined as: faculty or non‐faculty autism researchers who have completed their formal training within the past 10 years. (i.e. terminal degree, post‐PhD fellowship or post‐doctoral fellowship, medical residency, or other specialized training) 


The requirements listed below must be noted in the appropriate fields provided on the Early Career Membership application form: 

  1. the date formal training was completed

  2. have at least two publications in peer reviewed journals related to autism research, and/or have external funding for autism related research

For new or rejoining Early Career Members, there is an application fee of $25 USD.



Low, Low-Middle, or Upper-Middle Income Countries (LMIC):

Early Career members living and/or working in low/low-middle/upper-middle income counties (LMIC), are eligible for reduced membership dues and waived application fees.

» Low and Low-Middle Income Country: No cost

» Upper Middle Income Country: $20 USD

New and Rejoining Members: INSAR membership dues cover a calendar year (January 1 - December 31) and are NOT based on when you join. When joining INSAR mid-year, membership is through the end of that year.
