“Congratulations INSAR! This 20th anniversary is truly a milestone achievement. I recall having the privilege of working on the first Program Committee with David Amaral and Kirk Wilhelmsen. There was broad recognition that establishing this meeting was long overdue but the outstanding issue remained to find financial support to get this fledgling effort off the ground. I recall conversations with CAN, NAAR and others, who generously supported this initiative and made IMFAR a reality. Clearly the success of this organization and annual meeting has far outstripped our wildest dreams for success and has continued to grow and be an organizing, critical and driving force in the field of autism research. My sincere thanks to all those who have worked so diligently over the years in leadership and other positions to make this such a wonderful success. Happy birthday!”
