INSAR Committees

INSAR is fortunate to have many volunteers who work on committees to develop, organize, and support for the variety of activities and programs INSAR offers to members and others in the field of autism research. By visiting each committee’s page, you will find the purpose of the committee, and the list of members who are currently serving on each committee. All committee members must be current INSAR members; however, Community Advisory Committee may include individuals who are not INSAR members but who are stakeholders in the field of autism research.

The following committees are currently active, working for INSAR membership and beyond, in support of the INSAR mission: to promote and disseminate the highest quality autism research globally.

In January 2020, The International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) unanimously appointed its inaugural Autistic Researchers Committee. While many autistic persons and allies have been championing research informed by autistic lives, this marks the first organized and recognized effort to directly involve autistic researchers in contributing to the course of autism research.
