INSAR membership is open to individuals engaged in academic or research activities, graduate students and post doctoral researchers, and others vested in the study of autism.
New and Rejoining Members: There are two Open Application Periods each year: January 1 - March 31 and June 1 - December 31. New memberships will not be accepted between these dates: April 1 - May 31.
Renewing Members: The deadline to renew INSAR membership is Tuesday, January 7, 2020. If membership lapses (expires due to non payment of dues by the stated deadline), you may rejoin only during an open application period. The application fee will be charged along with the dues to rejoin/return to membership.
Low Income Country - Reduced Rates: Individuals living and working in countries designated by the World Bank as Low, Low-Middle, and Upper-Middle Income economies qualify for reduced INSAR membership and the INSAR Annual Meeting (formerly IMFAR) registration rates. To attend the INSAR Annual Meeting at these reduced rates, INSAR membership is required. Application fees are waived. Use this form to submit membership dues payment:
Membership and INSAR Annual Meeting Registration: INSAR membership is NOT required to attend the INSAR Annual Meeting. However, the reduced INSAR Member rate is only offered to current members at the time of registration.
INSAR membership dues cover a calendar year (January 1 - December 31) and are not prorated. When joining INSAR mid-year, membership is through the end of that year. Dues renewal notices for the next year's dues are sent electronically to all members, beginning in September. To be eligible for Member INSAR Annual Meeting registration fees, current membership is required at the time of registration.
