- About INSAR
The International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) is a scientific and professional organization devoted to advancing knowledge about autism. INSAR was formed in 2001 and is governed by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors who oversee all functions of the Society. Various committees assist the Board in carrying out the mission of the Society.
INSAR offers three categories of annual membership. Membership benefits and details for the application process are located at Membership.
The INSAR Annual Meeting (formerly IMFAR) is the Society's scientific meeting, convened each spring, to exchange and disseminate new scientific progress among autism research scientists and their trainees from around the world. For more information on past and future meetings visit Events.
In additional to the annual meetings, INSAR has contracted with John Wiley and Sons, Inc, to publish the Society's research journal, Autism Research. An online subscription to our journal is just one benefit of INSAR membership.
INSAR is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
