Recent advancements in the areas of video and audio capture technology; computer architecture, hardware, and software; web-based data collection methods; on-body physical and physiological sensing; robotics; virtual reality; and more will be presented, illustrating how this technology can enhance and accelerate the pace of autism research and treatment by providing broader access to professional resources; reducing treatment costs; promoting interventions that increase generalizability of learned skills; and furthering research recruitment, implementation, and data collection and analysis.
