The EEG & MEG in Autism Special Interest Group will meet on Thursday May 20th from 12 to 1:15 pm. Our group brings together clinicians and researchers interested in the use of EEG/MEG to better understand the endophenotypes associated with ASD. This SIG is co-organized by Dr. Sara Jane Webb (University of Washington, Seattle, Washington) and Dr. James McPartland (Yale University, New Haven Connecticut). In our first meeting, we are planning to provide a short background on EEG and MEG and their applicability to autism research. The group will break into small topic groups for more focused conversation. The group will reconvene to summarize topic group and to plan future interactions and events. As part of this meeting, we will also create a recommended reading list for those interested in expanding their exposure to this topic. By May 14th, please email Dr. Sara Jane Webb at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with your preference for the small break out group topics and suggested "must-read" papers. |
