The Sleep Special Interest Group will meet on Thursday May 20th from 12 to 1pm. Our group brings together clinicians and researchers interested in the interface of sleep and autism. It is co-organized by Dr. Beth Malow (Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee) and Dr. Amanda Richdale (LaTrobe University, Bundoora, VICTORIA, Australia). For this year, we are planning a data blitz in which we can all share our sleep research (completed, in progress, and planned) and learn what everyone is doing. Each presenter will be able to present one slide (we will let you know how much time you have to talk once we know how many people are planning to present). If you have an idea for a research project, you can present that as well—and use the SIG as a way of eliciting feedback from others. You don’t need to be presenting a poster or platform at IMFAR 2010 to present at the SIG, although we are hoping those who are presenting at IMFAR 2010 will also participate in the SIG data blitz. Please email Dr. Beth Malow at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it by Monday May 3 if you are planning to attend the sleep SIG and present a slide at the data blitz. |
